Export

Choose Export translations to download a CSV of your strings. Exporting needs no account and no subscription.

Import

Choose Import translations, or drop the CSV onto the plugin. Each import counts against your account; the welcome bonus includes two.

The importer is forgiving about the file's shape:

  • It finds the key column by its header — key, id, msgid, source or base — and otherwise takes the first column that is not a locale.
  • It recognises locale columns by their codes, such as de, fr or pt-BR. A column with an ordinary name, like "Notes", is not taken for a locale.
  • A file with the locales as rows instead of columns is turned the right way round.

Before anything is written you can check how the file maps onto your locales and properties; anything the importer could not place is listed under Unknown. Afterwards the plugin tells you if some values could not be applied — usually because the frame or property they belonged to no longer exists.
