Asorium is a Figma plugin and web service that translates app store screenshots and publishes them to the App Store and Google Play. These terms are the agreement between you and us about using it. They apply from the moment you sign in.
The service is operated by Dmitrii Belousov, trading as Asorium, Andria Razmadze Street 68, 0179 Tbilisi, Georgia. You can reach us through our contact form or at [email protected].
Two other documents are part of this agreement: our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data, and our Refund Policy, which explains when we return money. Payments are handled by Paddle, whose own terms also apply to the purchase itself — see "What you are paying for" below.
Who can use the service
You must be at least 16 years old.
You may not use the service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you appear on a restricted-party list. Our payment provider applies its own sanctions screening on top of ours.
We may decline to sell in a particular country, or to a particular customer, where selling there would conflict with our own legal or tax obligations. If that turns out to apply to a purchase you have already made, we refund it.
Account terms
You sign in with your Figma account. We do not issue passwords, and we never see your Figma credentials.
Signing in creates an organisation, and your account belongs to it. Whoever can sign in to your Figma account can reach your Asorium organisation, its credits and its connected store accounts — so keeping that access secure is your responsibility, and anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
One person, one account. Sharing a single account between people who each could have their own is not permitted.
What you are paying for
You are paying for access to the service and for the processing it performs — translation, layout fitting, rendering and publishing — metered in credits. You are not buying software, and nothing here is a sale or licence of a copy of the plugin. The plugin itself is free and stays free; it is a client for the service.
Paddle is the merchant of record. That means your purchase contract for the payment is with Paddle, not with us: Paddle sells to you, charges you, issues the invoice, and handles tax. Paddle's buyer terms apply to that transaction alongside these terms. We never receive or store your card details.
What you need to run it
Asorium runs inside Figma and signs you in with your Figma account, so a Figma account is required. Publishing to a store additionally needs your own App Store Connect or Google Play account — we publish on your instruction, to your accounts, and cannot provide them for you.
Everything you buy is delivered immediately: a subscription starts on payment, and a credit pack lands in your wallet moments after it completes.
Plans and what they include
The prices and credit allowances shown on the pricing page form part of these terms. The rest of that page describes the service and is not a term of this agreement.
Publishing rights differ by plan: publishing to the App Store requires a paid plan, and publishing to Google Play requires the top plan. A Free organisation can publish to the App Store within its welcome allowance, which the pricing page states; after that, publishing needs a plan.
How credits work
Credits are the unit we meter processing in. What a job costs depends on how much work it takes — languages, text volume, effort settings and layout retries all move it — so we charge for the work performed rather than a flat fee per screenshot.
- Your plan grants credits each billing period. They are for that period: unused plan credits do not roll over, and they expire when the period ends. On an annual plan the allowance still arrives monthly, not all at once.
- Credits you buy do not expire. They stay in your account for as long as the account exists. Only credits nobody paid for have a shelf life: the plan's monthly allowance above, and any credits we grant you — the welcome allowance or a promotion — which carry the lifetime stated when they are granted.
- Free and bonus credits — the welcome allowance and anything we grant as a promotion — have no cash value, are not refundable, and are not transferable.
- Spending order: plan credits first, then packs, oldest-expiring first. So the credits closest to expiring are always the ones being used.
- Jobs reserve credits before they run. If a job fails or you cancel it, the reservation is released. What was actually processed is what you are charged for.
- Credits are not money, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
We may correct balances that are wrong because of a technical fault, a payment that was reversed, or misuse. If a correction leaves your balance negative, that shortfall carries into the next period rather than disappearing at renewal.
Payment, plan changes and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Paddle takes payment and emails you about it.
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then, and we do not prorate the unused part.
When a subscription ends:
- plan credits for that period expire with it;
- credits you bought stay, and keep no expiry;
- your account and your data remain until you delete them.
When a downgrade takes effect, publishing rights change with it. The change itself applies at the end of the period you have paid for — you keep the plan you paid for until then — and from that point you cannot publish to a store your new plan does not include, even through an account you connected while on the higher plan. Connected accounts themselves are not removed — you keep them, and can still list, refresh and delete them.
We may change prices and what plans include. We will tell you before a change affects you, and it applies from your next billing period, never retroactively. If you do not want to continue on the new terms, cancel before that period starts.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is part of this agreement. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, Paddle carries out refunds and may also issue one at its own discretion. Nothing in either document removes rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Your content
What you put into Asorium stays yours. Your source text, your translations, your images, your glossaries — we claim no ownership of any of it.
To run the service we need your permission to process it: to store it, send it to the translation provider, render it into images, and deliver it to the store you asked us to publish to. That permission is limited to operating the service for you, and it ends when the content is deleted.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you submit. By using the service you confirm that you may lawfully process the text and images you upload, and that translating and publishing them does not infringe anyone else's rights.
We do not use your content to train machine-learning models, and under the terms we use our translation provider's API on, it does not train on data sent through it either. Details, including how long the provider keeps a copy, are in the Privacy Policy.
AI-assisted translation
Translations are produced by a machine. They can be wrong, awkward, or unsuitable for your market, and they may not comply with the rules of the store you publish to.
You are expected to review the output before you publish it. The service is a tool for producing and adapting translations, not a substitute for a professional translator, and we do not warrant that any translation is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. The plugin says the same where the work happens.
Publishing to the App Store and Google Play
When you publish through Asorium, you are instructing us to act on your behalf, using credentials you connected. We upload what you selected, where you told us to.
- The stores' rules are yours to satisfy. Apple and Google decide what they accept. We do not guarantee that a submission is approved, that it is processed in any particular time, or that it survives review.
- You remain the publisher. Metadata, screenshots and compliance with each store's guidelines are your responsibility.
- Publishing to Google Play commits changes as a draft; sending it further is your decision inside the store's own console.
- We are not responsible for what a store does with your submission, including rejection, removal or delay.
Store credentials
To publish, you connect an App Store Connect API key or a Google Play service account. By doing so:
- you confirm you are entitled to use those credentials and to grant us access through them;
- you accept that we will use them only to carry out the actions you request;
- you can remove them at any time, and doing so stops any further use.
We store them encrypted, and they are write-only: once submitted, they are never displayed back to you or to anyone else. Keeping them valid, and revoking them at the store when you no longer want them used, is your part.
Using the plugin, and what you may not do
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the plugin and the service for their intended purpose, for as long as this agreement is in force. The plugin is provided free of charge; what you pay for is the service behind it.
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, keys, endpoints or model prompts from the plugin or the service;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with metering, quotas, rate limits or any security-related feature;
- resell, or provide access to the service to third parties as your own;
- use the service to process content that is unlawful, or that you have no right to process;
- automate use in a way that places an undue load on the service, or run it through an unofficial client;
- misrepresent who you are, or use another person's account or credentials.
Our payment provider's acceptable use policy also applies to anything you buy, and it is not overridden by anything here.
Uptime, security and privacy
We work to keep the service available and to fix what breaks, but we do not offer a service level agreement, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and problems at Figma, at our payment provider or at our translation provider can all interrupt it.
How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about it, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of translations, or uninterrupted operation.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or losses caused by a store rejecting, delaying or removing your submission.
None of the above applies to, and nothing in these terms limits or excludes, liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- intentional misconduct or gross negligence;
- your statutory rights as a consumer, including remedies for digital content or services that are faulty or not as described;
- refunds that mandatory law requires us to make;
- breach of an obligation essential to performing this agreement, and on which you could reasonably rely, to the extent applicable law treats such an obligation specially.
Where your local law gives you more than this section allows us to limit, your local law applies.
Suspension, termination and discontinuation
You may stop using the service at any time, and you can delete your account from the plugin or from your profile on the web. Deletion is immediate and irreversible; what it does, and what survives it, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account destroys its credit balance, including credits you bought, and they are not refunded. Credits do not expire, but they belong to the account: if you want the money back instead, ask for a refund before you delete — see the Refund Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use threatens the service or other users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. Credits in an account terminated for breach are forfeited.
If we discontinue the service, we will tell you at least 30 days before it closes, stop charging immediately, and leave you time to export your data.
Until it closes everything you have paid for keeps working, so credits can be spent normally. Whatever purchased credits are still unused when the service closes, we refund — at the price you paid for them, not at any later list price. If you have paid for a subscription period that has not finished by then, we refund the part of it you did not get. Refunds are carried out by our payment provider; where a payment is too old for it to be reversed, we will take reasonable steps to return the money another way.
The credit refund applies to credits you bought. Credits nobody paid for — the welcome allowance, promotional grants, and the plan allowance for a period that has ended — carry no refund, because there was no payment to return.
Changes to these terms
The version and date of these terms are at the top of this page, and previous versions stay available.
Minor corrections — typos, clarifications, formatting — take effect when they are published.
Changes that materially affect what you are agreeing to are announced at least 30 days before they take effect, by email or in the product. They then apply automatically from that date. If you do not want to continue under them, cancel your subscription or delete your account before that date.
We will ask you to accept a new version explicitly only when a change goes to the heart of this agreement: a change of who you are contracting with, of the governing law, or a materially wider use of your content or your personal data.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, and the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or anywhere with mandatory consumer protection, this does not take anything away from you: you keep the protections of your own country's law, and you keep the right to bring proceedings there.
Before going to court, please write to us. Most things are faster to fix than to argue about.
